Favorite Bible Verses Copywork
This set of copywork worksheets is designed as handwriting practice work for both manuscript and cursive writers. It is a companion to The Joy of Handwriting handwriting program, which teaches both lowercase and capital letters.
Each verse in this set is taken from the NIrV. There are 36 verses that can be used for every week of the school year. The verses can be traced one day and copied the next. Blank copy pages are provided at the end for extra copy space.
An outlined letter is used instead of dotted lines to help with eye-hand coordination. This also allows hesitant writers to trace the verse before trying to copy it on their own. Line breaks show where one letter starts and another stops as well as where the letters join. There is no better way to start the day than memorizing God’s Word and practicing writing at the same time!
